If you are at least age 15 and ready to get your driving permit, Christmas break is a great time to start driver education! Behind The Wheel Driving Academy offers an online course that you may complete at your convenience (no sitting in a classroom!), plus an educational video to help you pass the written permit test at the BMV. Jostens will be here to deliver the class jewelry on Friday, November 30th from 7:58 AM – 8:18 AM in the auditorium.  If you still have a balance due on your jewelry, it can be paid with cash, money order, or a credit/debit card.  No checks will be accepted on delivery day. If you already have any class jewelry and it needs to be resized or repaired bring it on delivery day and Jostens will take care of it for you. 

 

Attention seniors…the last chance to order your graduation items at school will be on Friday November 30th from 7:58 AM – 8:18 AM in the auditorium Don’t forget your $60.00 deposit.

 

Tri-County YMCA is hosting a Co-Ed Dodge ball Tournament on Thursday, December 27th.  The divisions are K-4th  grade ,5th-8th  grade  and 9th -12th grade and the cost is $30/team.  Registration deadline is December 26th.  For more information, sign-up sheet and rules stop by the high school office. 

 

HHDM is proud to announce the first annual Dancer's Dash 5K Fun Run! The run/walk will be here at the high school on December 1st at 9:00 a.m.; registration begins at 8:00 a.m.  The cost is $20, which includes an amazing Dancer's Dash t-shirt.   Forms are available in Mrs. Johnson's room or Mrs. McCutchan's room; forms will also be available during both lunches. All entries should be turned in to Mrs. Johnson. All proceeds go to Riley Children's Hospital.

 

A babysitter is wanted in Gentryville for two elementary age boys. This would be one night per week and every other Saturday during the day. Please text or leave a message, if interested, to Mindy at  812-550-3541

Youth grades K-12 are invited to join the long tradition of Spencer County 4-H.  They offer over 100 activities throughout the year. Seniors interested in an Indiana teaching career should look at our HHHS webpage listed under Guidance - Scholarships for the Next Generation Scholarship information. The deadline of November 30th is fast approaching.

 

A representative from the University of Louisville will be at HHHS on Tuesday, December 4th from 8:30 - 9:00am.  Interested Seniors and Juniors should sign up in the Guidance Office. The rep wants to talk to students about the Regional Scholars Program offering an automatic renewable award of $10,000 just for being admitted to the U of L.

We have an immediate opening for someone to do preventive maintenance on our forklifts.  This person must be at least 18 years old and be mechanically inclined.  Pay is $10 an hour and you would work 3 to 4 hours each night from Monday through Friday.  We are very lenient with students needing to be off due to exams or school functions. See Mr. Wilkerson in the Guidance Office if you are interested.

 

 

Rural King in Jasper is hiring; must be at least 16. Apply online at www.rktalent.com. After applying, call 812-482-4840 to schedule an interview.
