Friday - White Out day

 

The Homecoming Dance will be on Friday, September 14 from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. Single tickets are $6.00 and couple tickets are $10.00. Each purchase of a ticket will get a free neon necklace.

 

Spencer County Special Olympics is going to be back in business!!  There will be two meetings held where athletes can learn more, people can sign-up to volunteer or just get general information.

High School student needed for tutoring an elementary student in math.  If interested call Heather at 812-489-4233 after 3:00.

Prizes awarded in each area. Cleanest, Dirtiest, Tallest, Lowest, Loudest, and Rustiest truck.

Are you a Junior interested in attending The University of IndianapolisThe Lugar Symposium, designed to expose some of the best and brightest young minds in Indiana—our future leaders—to current global issues, is an opportunity for students. It is held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the University of Indianapolis. If you are an interested Junior, stop by the Guidance Office to sign up.  Only 3 students can be selected.

 

A representative from the Spencer County Voters Registration Office will at HHHS on Monday, September 17 during both lunch periods.  Stop by their table if you need to register to vote.

Wabash Valley College Diesel Equipment Technology

Mt Carmel, Illinois

Wabash Valley College is having a Diesel Day on their campus on October 20, 2018.  The day begins with registration at 8am and concludes around 2:30pm. Juniors and Seniors, parents, and instructors are invited to attend.  If you have an interest in diesel technology and would like to attend the program, please contact the HHHS Guidance Office so we can add your name to the list. Deadline is September 21st.

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Application is now open. Visit the Spencer County Community Foundation website or the link below for more information on the application process.   Deadline to apply is September 17th, 2018.  Applicants must have an un-weighted GPA of at least 3.75 and must have an SAT or ACT score to submit with the application.
