Also, if you forgot to order any class jewelry, Jostens will be available for orders from 11:43 AM- 1:05 PM in the Cafeteria. Please bring your order form and $50 deposit. Extra class ring design kits are available in the main office.

Peers Educating Peers P.E.P. Announcements: New Mentors, turn in your packet to Guidance and sign up for an interview time for Friday. Training Date for ALL Mentors is Friday, October 27 from 7:00 a.m. - 8:15 in the study hall room. Light breakfast provided. Make plans to attend. Training is mandatory.

Lady Soccer Players need to turn in uniforms, jackets, and bags to Coach Fischer asap.  You can keep your socks.

Hispanic Heritage Month Fact: Though Sunday ends National Hispanic Heritage month, September 15 marks the start because it is also the anniversary of independence for many Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days September 16.

Our Fall Blood Drive will be Thursday, November 16.  Sign up in Mrs. Hawkin’s Office today!

Auto Club will hosting their annual Student Truck Show during ECA.
Tallest, Lowest, Cleanest, Dirtiest, Rustiest, and Loudest trucks will be awarded prizes.
Please park behind the Auto Shop before school starts and line trucks up like we did for car show.
All students and faculty are welcome to attend during ECA.

Guidance

Heritage Hills will host a financial aid meeting on Thursday, November 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.  Seniors and parents will learn the process for completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and for securing loans.  It is recommended that ALL students who hope to attend college file the FAFSA, regardless of family income, since some scholarships require its completion. Families can begin filing as of October 1, based on 2016 income. This meeting it to provide information and support to parents.  To submit the FAFSA, go online to www.fafsa.gov and select the 2018-2019 FAFSA. Ask a counselor for more information.

University of Evansville - UExplore Engineering First night - Orientation - Monday, October 16, 2017 6:00-7:00 PM at Room 100, Koch Center

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship--   http://in.gov/che/4680.htm This scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school.  Applications are due by 11:59pm EST on November 30, 2017. The application opens on September 1, 2017.
