Attention Sophomores: Consider attending the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership program! HOBY ambassadors have strong leadership potential. The program is for students who have strong skills in communication, critical/creative thinking, decision-making, courage to speak out, and participation in community service.  It is a prestigious program that involves tenth graders across the country. It can be an amazing educational and personal experience. HOBY will be held next summer in Indianapolis. It is a 3 day experience and the dates will be set officially in November, but it will be early June 2019. The $225 fee is generally paid by a local organization, so this opportunity can be free. Find out more by visiting www.hoby.org. You may ask more about the program from our upperclassmen who have attended HOBY: Luke Peters and Daley Atchison.
