Noah Hufnagel will sign a College Letter of Intent to attend Indiana State University to run Cross Country on Friday, December 8th.  The ceremony will be held in the Heritage Hills High School Library at 12:45 pm CST.   Family and friends are invited!
Dress-up days for December 11-15 is:

Wednesday: Class Colors; freshmen:gold/yellow sophomores:gray/silver juniors: seniors:black
Thursday: Christmas Sweater Day
Friday: Christmas hats, reindeer antlers, elf ears. 
There will be a student council meeting Thursday, December 7th, 2017 at 7:20 in Mr. Mauck's room.
Our spirit night competitions this week are:
     Tonight is Swimming and Diving at 5:30
     Friday the Dance Team will be perform during half-time of the varsity 
Seniors need to report to the commons area during their lunches on Thursday and Friday so that they can give us their signature to use in the yearbook
Student Council will be selling tickets for Holiday Ball next week during both lunches.  Single tickets are $10, while double tickets are $15. All tickets are $10 at the door.
SENIORS: Now is the time to file the FAFSA – “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” to get assistance to pay for college. The new deadline for state aid is April 15, 2018, however early filing allows families more time to receive and evaluate their financial aid package.  Go to www.fafsa.gov.

Seniors: Don't forget that your senior pictures & baby ads are due Friday, December 8th.  You can get another copy of the baby ad form on the school webpage under yearbook.  Please see Ms. Gasaway if you have any questions.  
New Contest in the Library!! Now until Wednesday Dec. 20 Try and guess the faculties favorite Children’s story. The person with the most correct will win. If anyone gets all of them correct there will be an extra prize.
Students interested in purchasing a letter jacket can contact Mr. Burch.  You will need to pay $100 and return your cloth "HH" letter.
Guidance
The ACT, a college entrance examination that is like the SAT, is being given at Heritage Hills on Saturday, February 10. To register, go online to www.actstudent.org. Deadline is January 12. Seniors who still need a test score for college admission may need to register for this test. College-bound Juniors are encouraged to take the ACT! See a counselor if questions.
HSF--Hispanic Scholarship Fund --has awarded more than $550 million in scholarships and provides a range of impactful programs for students, HSF scholars, alumni, and parents.Don't miss the opportunity to apply for an HSF scholarship. The application opens January 1, 2018, and closes March 31, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be selected in June 2018. For more information visit hsf.net. or stop by the HHHS Guidance office.

Friday, Sept. 1st, is the spirit night for Football. The game is at home against Pike Central starting at 7:00 PM. The theme is camo night. Come show your support for the football team. Pike Central won’t see us coming!

 

BPA is still accepting members....so you still have a change of going to Dallas, Texas this May!  See Mrs. Hochgesang for more information or come to the ECA meeting on Tuesday in Room 126.

 

Do you have an older relative or friend that would be interested in having an old HHHS yearbook? We have extra yearbooks we are needing to give away.  If you would like any yearbook from 2001-2014 please see Mrs. Gasaway in room 106 sometime between 3rd & 7th period.

Sports pictures will be taken on September 6th.

 

Any girl interested in a Scholarship opportunity for the Chrisney Fall Fest Scholarship Pageant should get a registration paper from Mr. Fischer.

This Saturday, the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra has invited the HH Choir to perform with them at Lincoln Amphitheater for a John Williams Tribute Concert.  Who is John Williams? He composed many classic movie scores such as Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan. Superman, and E.T.  You are sure to enjoy this fun-filled concert along with some Patriotic favorites.  Pre-Show, provided by the HH Middle School choir, begins at 6:30. Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship--

This scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school.  Applications are due by 11:59pm EST on November 30, 2017. The application opens on September 1, 2017

 

Seniors!

Representatives from the Spencer County Community Foundation will be at Heritage Hills on Friday, Sept. 1st to share information concerning the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.  Senior students who are interested should be in the Commons Area at 8:00 a. m. on Friday, Sept. 1st.
