On Friday during resource period, the JUNIORS who have SIGNED UP to take the PSAT on October 11 will meet in the cafeteria to fill out some pre-testing information. A student unsure of his/her testing status may contact Mrs. Wilmes. Those not taking PSAT will take the ASVAB. These students will need to bring a pencil.

Seniors! On Wednesday, October 11th, you will be participating in senior service day.  Mr. Wilkerson will be have sign up lists available on Tuesday morning (October 3rd), starting at 7:00 a.m. in the commons area.  Make sure you sign up that morning for a community service location.  You will not be allowed to sign up a friend.  All students must see Mr. Wilkerson in person on that day to sign up.


BPA will be hosting a Dodgeball tournament on Saturday, October 14.  Sign up early so that your team doesn't get turned away.  Registration packets are in the office.  See Mrs. Hochgesang with questions.  


University of Evansville - UExplore Engineering First night - Orientation - Monday, October 16, 2017 6:00-7:00 PM at Room 100, Koch Center

Attention Sophomores: Consider attending the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership program this summer! HOBY ambassadors have strong leadership potential. The program is for students who have strong skills in communication, critical/creative thinking, decision-making, courage to speak out, and participation in community service.  It is a prestigious program that involves tenth graders across the country. It can be an amazing educational and personal experience. HOBY will be held at Butler University in June. The $195 fee is generally paid by a local organization, so this opportunity is free. Any SENIOR that wants to take the ASVAB test on Wednesday, October 11 at Heritage Hills needs to inform Mrs. Wilmes right away!

The SAT will be given at HHHS on November 4. The deadline to register is October 5. This test date fills up quickly! Go to

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship-- This scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $7,500 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school.  Applications are due by 11:59pm EST on November 30, 2017. The application opens on September 1, 2017.

  • Frosty’s is now hiring.  Stop in today and fill out an application.  Must be at least 14 years old.
  • Any high school young man that may be wanting to go into the diesel/transportation field needs to stop by the office and pick up information about a job opportunity.  Must be hard working, have a valid drivers license and attendance is important!
  • Tri-County YMCA is currently in search of a certified lifeguard for the High School starting in November on Wednesday evenings from 5-6.  If interested please stop be the office for more information.
