We believe potential like this should be encouraged, developed, and fostered until it becomes mature enough – immense enough – to impact society, touch lives and move nations.

Eligibility
If you are a dynamic, passionate, hard-working student in high school, college, university, or trade school, create a 2-4 minute video explaining why you think education is the key to a brighter future, and how you can shape society.

Guidelines
We want to hear what motivates you. What are you passionate about? What have you already done to help uplift society? Show us your vision and you might just be the lucky winner to receive a $500 scholarship grant from Maid Sailors.

Deadline
The deadline for the first submission is March 31, 2017 and the winner will be announced on April 15, 2017. The deadline for the second submission is September 30, 2017 and the winner will be announced October 15, 2017. The lucky students must claim the scholarship within two weeks after being contacted or the grant will be forfeited and we will have to choose another winner.

First Submission:

Montem Health and Wellness Scholarship $1500 award

Overview
Montem Outdoor Gear understands the importance of learning and practicing healthy habits. We have created the Montem Health and Wellness Scholarship for high school, undergraduate or postgraduate students who are committed to a lifetime of healthy habits to receive a $1,500 award. Full details

Eligibility
Students who are currently enrolled in a high school, college, university, or trade school are encouraged to submit their application.

Participation
To participate in this scholarship, you will have to create a piece of content between 500 – 1,000 words promoting a practical approach to a healthy lifestyle during high school, college or university years (whichever is relevant to you) and how these habits can be sustained over a lifetime.

Deadline
The final date for the first scholarship is March 31, 2017. The deadline for the second scholarship is September 30, 2017.

Hiking Ambition Wellness Scholarship 

Overview
At Hiking Ambition our goal is to make hiking and any outdoor adventure easier and more accessible for everyone interested in learning and exploring the wilderness. We have created the Hiking Ambition Wellness Scholarship for high school, undergraduate or postgraduate students who are committed to a lifetime of healthy habits to receive a $1,000 award.

Nursing Schools Almanac Scholarship

I'd like to make your students aware of a scholarship opportunity. Nursing Schools Almanac has just launched its third annual Aspiring Nurse Scholarship. Our website will award a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates:

 

·   A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics

·   A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare

The Hammock Expert Scholarship

Scholarship Details

  • $1,500 annual scholarship (one time)
  • 4 scholarships available every year (2 per semester)

Submission:

To be eligible, applicant must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA (High school or university) and submit a 1000-1500-word essay answering the following question:

  • How do you see technology impacting the world around us in the future and where do you see yourself in this future?

Terms and Conditions:

  • The Hammock Expert Scholarship award will be paid directly to the student with an .edu e-mail or HS e-mail (will need to provide HS proof if HS does not have own email).
  • The funds from this scholarship are to be used solely for tuition, books, supplies and any additional fees required for students’ course work.
  • After the winner is chosen, enrollment and GPA qualifications will be confirmed.
  • If applicant does not meet the stated requirements, the award will then be given to the next eligible runner up.

Buenas Opiniones Scholarship

Overview

This scholarship is for graduating Latino high school seniors or currently enrolled college undergraduate or graduate students. The award is $2,500 per year for up to four years. Buenas Opiniones will support its scholars in a variety of ways including but not limited to personal, leadership and professional development opportunities, networking and mentorships opportunities, as well as financial and academic support to prepare its scholars to be the next leaders in their professions and communities. More than 50 million people in the United States identify as Hispanic, making the growing Latino population by far the largest minority group in the country. Though there are continued cultural, economic, and societal barriers to educational success, students of Hispanic descent have recently made significant gains, and Buenas Opiniones would like to contribute to that momentum.

Varsity Tutors Scholarship Contest

Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt.
