State of Sleep Scholarship

The Sleep Judge is announcing the first State of Sleep Scholarship.

We’re offering a $1,500 scholarship to eligible HS seniors, current college and graduate students in an effort to support students who wish to further their education and provide awareness around the importance of sleep. Selection of the recipients is based on the creative entry and academic performance.

Eligibility requirements

  • Must be current high school seniors attending school in the United States and Canada OR current college students already studying at an accredited U.S. or Canada post-secondary institution
  • Must be U.S. or Canadian citizens
  • Must be anticipating completion of high school diploma at time of application or already in possession of high school diploma / GED
  • Must be planning to or already currently pursuing a degree at an accredited U.S. or Canada post-secondary institution
  • Must be carrying a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent grade average

As part of our promise to encourage responsible borrowing and help students maximize free money to help pay for college, we are happy to announce our 2017 $2,500 Discover® Student Loans Scholarship Award that will give away a total of $100,000 in scholarships to 40 individuals.  New this year, both students and parents of eligible students can register.

Now through December 31, 2017, eligible students and parents can enter to win one of the $2,500 scholarships by signing up to receive helpful tips on planning and paying for college here. Students and parents can earn up to three additional entries into the Discover Student Loans scholarship sweepstakes when they share the sweepstakes via Facebook, Twitter and/or email and their friend enters via the link in their share.

Financial need should never limit a student's ambitions. The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) General Scholarship Program awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships in 2017.
