Many of our donors have honored their loved ones, communities, high schools, colleges, or professions by endowing scholarship opportunities through the Foundation. We administer separate scholarship funds established by individuals, families, corporations, and organizations to assist local students in pursuit of advanced education. Together, these scholarships make up our Community Scholarship Program.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS OF ECS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS:

Open to a senior who is a child or grandchild of any Ferdinand Post 124 member, Sons of Legion member, or Auxiliary member. Kimball International Scholarships
We offer educational assistance opportunities to qualified dependents of Kimball International employees, including subsidiaries, and other students seeking skilled trade degrees or
certifications.
Two types of scholarships are awarded:
Kimball International Scholarship for students attending two and four year colleges.

LifeSpring Health Systems
We are a community healthcare organization that serves almost 12,000 individuals across 11 counties in Southern Indiana. Every year, the LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana organizes a high school senior scholarship and 8th grade essay contest open to all 8th graders and seniors at schools in our service area. One senior and 8th grader from each county (Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer and Washington) we serve will be selected by a committee made up of the LifeSpring Foundation Board of Trustees. Winning senior applicants will receive a one-time $500 scholarship and winning 8th grade participants will receive a one-time $100 award while the 8th grade referring teacher will receive a $25 Amazon gift card to be used for school supplies/other needs
